sotto il segno dell'Acquario. Dall'età di sei anni fa la modella per alcuni prodotti e abiti per bambini
e compare in più di 75 spot pubblicitari degli anni '60.
E' diventata famosa per il ruolo della giovane Regan MacNeil nel film "L'Esorcista""(The Exorcist).
Negli anni successivi Linda ha recitato in film complessi e anche controversi.
